Today is my Dad's birthday and boy what a year my poor Dad has had.

Today, though, we aren't looking backwards but forwards 

and hope the next few weeks, and months are more and more positive.

I am not a fan of photo inspiration challenges as I never know whether to 

choose the colours, image etc, so on the safe side I tend to stick to the colours.

Now onto my card......

I have used 'Valentine Billie' - cute isn't he....and used Pink Petticoat papers.

Week 2 - More Skinny Malinkies !

               Morning all -  we have the final 6 Skinny Malinkies to show you and mine is quite apt today,

                           as hopefully when you are reading this I will be sunning myself in Spain, - 
                                the forecast was 28-30 degrees but I will happy if it doesn't rain !!

Snow Penguin

Today's card is one of my first batch of Christmas orders and you won't believe this lady has already started wrapping her presents - how wrong is that ??

The image is a Digistamp Boutique one and is so cute and easy to colour.

I embossed the whole piece of card with a Sizzix embossing folder and flittered the snow and snowflakes.

One today.....

Good Evening All !!

Today I went out to lunch with a couple of girlfriends - we were deciding whether we book a lunch for Christmas or do something completely different - in the end we have decided to book a treatment each at a local beauticians which is located in a renovated farm and you get home made cakes, cups of tea etc all served in vintage crockery - it's just so cute and now have something to look forward to :0)

My card today was a request for a friend - I used Baby Rosie from Digistamp Boutique.

Mid-Challenge Reminder

Well another week over and another week closer to Christmas - did I actually just say that ??

My card today is for my Nephew's girlfriend - I haven't coloured 'Swing Billie' before and must 

admit I loved it.

When I went to brush the background the blue was a lot darker than I wanted it to be but looking at the card as a whole it doesn't look too bad.

One Idea Three Cards......

Morning - I needed to make some quick and simple female birthday cards and

this is what I came up with.

I love the simplicity and as previously posted am loving my embossing folders at the moment.

 

 This one reminded me of Cadbury's Dairy Milk ;0)

Pretty in Pink.

Morning!  A really quick card for you today using my favourite colour pink !! I am really loving using my embossing folders direct on my blank card instead of using DP !!

New Month and New Challenge

 

I still can't believe it is October - where on earth did our Summer go -

I must be getting old as weeks are flying by.

 

Today there is a brand spanking new challenge at LCI and

it is gorgeous Julie's turn to hostess the challenge and she has chosen

 

' Paper Piercing and/or Stitching (Real or Faux)'

 

I have used 'Handbag Nikki' today - isn't she gorgeous.

 

I embossed the card front with a new De'sire embossing folder - my stitching went a bit haywire as Celeste my Burmese cat decided to help !!!
