Easter Egg...

Hi all!!

Well when the challenge at Uniko was announced I panicked - 

I don't send Easter cards as such and certainly had no Uniko Easter stamps -

 so had to put my thinking cap on!

This is what I came up with......

I downloaded an egg template from Google 

and cut it out leaving me with either the actual egg cut out or the negative 

- so I taped the negative onto a blank piece of card 

and chose the Uniko stamp set - Background Builders Vines, 

repeatedly stamp in spring colours to create the egg shape......and voila!!

LIM Colour Challenge

Today's card is for the LIM colour challenge - Citrus

I made a card blank using a Pink Petticoat design paper download

and then stamped the gorgeous Daffodil stamp from CBS and sentiment from Uniko...

added a sparkle or two and here you go....

Option of love

I thought it was about time I blogged a card so here goes,

a card made for the Uniko challenge ~ Anything goes with an option of Love

I die cut a heart and 'stuck' it onto a die cut piece of white card then stamped around with the Uniko background builders ~ vines then removed the heart.

Stamped a SU stamp in the middle.

Christmas at Uniko

Hi all!!

Today I am here to join in with the 

Uniko ~ Christmas (with an optional of being CAS) Challenge

I used a piece of washi tape down one side which made me think to use black for the tree and sentiment - I also added black sequins and black stickles on the tree for baubles.

This is a fantabulous set - Essentially Christmas perfect for all your Christmas cards.

Triangle Christmas Trees!

I'm sure most crafters are well on their way with making Christmas cards - unlike me - I am normally done and dusted by now and have to admit have thought about buying some charity cards to give myself a little break but who do I not send a handmade card to?!?!

My card today was a crafty way of fitting in making a Christmas card - 

the challenge at Uniko ~ Geometrics (with an optional twist triangles or circles)

I used a triangle from the Background Builders: Triangulate set 

and sentiment from the Rustic Christmas set - what do you think??

Black with a splash!

Day two of the summer holidays for Lewis and Eleanor - now where is the sun?!

We don't go away until 16th August so I need to keep them busy - either with their own friends or with me but Lewis is 15 and tends to like his bed a little too much!!

Lewis has been away this weekend doing his 

Duke of Edinburgh Bronze trial expedition - 

can you believe how bad the weather has been?

I think he has brought home all the mud from the Clwydian Range!!!

His kit is absolutely soaked through - thank goodness for drybags.

Uniko Studio Guest Designer

I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the 

fantastic Uniko Studio team 

this week as a Guest Designer.  

When Beverley invited me I was so excited, how could I refuse?  

I only found Uniko Studio earlier this year and am delighted I did!

Okay I won't waffle on any longer, here are my cards for this month's mid challenge reminder.....

I used the brand new Background Builders: Vines Winter Additions
and for £4.50 what a bargain for such a useful set.

Snowflakes are Winter's butterflies

I absolutely love this sentiment from Uniko Studio 

and have decided to use it for the new challenge 'Christmas'

I have used the stamp set 'Stunning Snowflakes' and

stamped in variations of pink and purple then added a pearl in the centre of each one.

Hello everyone!!

We had an amazing time at Lake Como - the weather was mixed but managed to get a lovely tan  ~ think it was because it was 23-25 degrees most days so was a nice heat to wander in and also to fall asleep in!!
