Happy Sunday everyone!

Today's card was an order - the lady wanted lilac and purple flowers and a matching gift wallet.

I was very pleased with the outcome and believe Karen loved it.

I'm such a bad blogger at the moment - I haven't been leaving comments although I have been taking a look at all the lovely creations in blogland. Life sometimes doesn't always allow you to do the little things....sorry.

Today's card was a customer order - Holly loves Cadbury's and butterflies - so her Mum wanted me to use this on her card.....what do you think?

TGIF....

I can't believe I haven't posted for a week - where did this week go ??

We went to Edinburgh and it was just great - we did a little bit of history, shopping, eating and I had my 60 minute massage which was absolutely divine.......

Here was the view from our bedroom window.

I have been ill with Bronchitis again this week so have been resting up quite a bit and crafting quite a bit - although feeling much better am soooooo tired.

My card today is one I made for my BILs birthday - the stamp is Stampin' Up, so are the papers.
I purchase my Stampin' Up from a demonstrator in Aberdeen - she is a lovely lady - here is her blog - and I'm sure she'd help with any of your SU needs.
The punch is a Martha Stewart one - which is my second one as my first one was so over used it jammed :0(

Hope you are keeping warm and safe in the snow, I'm ready for hibernation I don't like snow especially when it turns to slush then ice......

Pretty in Pink.....

Hello and welcome to my new follower - yes 32 now - only 18 to go before my blog candy goes to one lucky person. If you don't know what I'm talking about please do go to my sticky post note at the top of my blog......

Todays card has been made with MFT Alphabet and Numbers dies but instead of using the die cuts I have based the card on the negative - the butterflies have been punched out with an MS punch....I also tried a stitch on my sewing machine that I've not tried before .......and I'm loving it !!

29 pieces of Candy !!

Yes - that's 29 pieces of candy - hello and welcome to my brand new followers !!

Today is Lewis' birthday - he is 13 - my very first teenager...
Lewis was born at 12:26pm on Saturday 13th November 1999 and I can honestly say when I held him and everyone had gone home - he opened his eyes and I have never ever felt what I felt at that moment my stomach just leaped - it was an incredible feeling.....and believe that is what true love feels like......

My card today is also a midway reminder for the LCI Challenge - Use Stationery.
I have used The Teenagers - Josh - Xbox digi stamp - suits Lewis down to the ground.

a little ditty I wrote for him !!

Something Slightly Different.....

My neighbour had a beautiful baby girl recently and I wanted to do something a little bit different for her.
So I printed the baby's details on a piece of white card and with my Martha Stewart multi-butterfly punch punched from several different cardstocks and decorated it.
I then placed it into a frame which I bought from Ikea and this was the result....
Onelia and Andrew absolutely loved it......:)

I put the frame on my Facebook page and was overwhelmed with inbox messages - and took 11 orders for different occasions.
Here is one for another newborn baby - the parents had decorated the nursery like a meadow so I let my imagination run.....

This is my creation - which was very very happily received.

A piece of cake....

Boy was it cold here today - my friend has taken me under her wing and we have been going for a walk each day - we chat, sort out the world and 4 miles later do feel better...and lost 7lbs since Christmas too !!

My Brother-in-law had his birthday last week - I always find making
his card tricky but decided to keep it simple.

I used LCI Magnum add-on and made it the focus of my card and
thought it worked out quite nice....

Backing paper - SU
Kraft card - my stash
Punched with Martha Stewart punch
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards

Mum.....

Brenda's funeral was a lovely celebration of her life. The church was so packed the doors could not be closed and people were standing in every space available.
Beautiful tributes were read by all the family and Lewis had written a poem which Eleanor and he read verse for verse.....I was so proud of them and everyone was in awe of their 'Northern accent' and how well they read aloud.

There wasn't a dry eye in the whole church and everyone held and shared some lovely memories.....it was a long tough day but I'm sure Brenda would've been happy if she was looking down on us all.

I made this card last week for Brenda which was put onto the flowers.......

Card stock - Stampin' Up
Butterflies - Martha Stewart Punch
Letters - Crosscuts die cutters
Ribbon - Gift wrap ribbon from Phoenix Trading

Thank you again to all my lovely blogging friends for your kind words and support.

Pretty in Pink....

Italy was perfect - just what we needed as a family.....

John, Lewis and Eleanor at the Spanish steps in Rome - Lewis sporting his new Ferrari hoodie and holding his Ferrari store bag !!

We took a detour to Maranello - which is the birthplace of Ferrari - and we took him to the Galleria Ferrari - he was so overcome with emotion when he walked into the room where all the Ferraris were kept he began to cry and it made it worth the extra journey......

Mummy put too many bubbles in the jacuzzi - but it was
so worth the fun they had !!!

Now onto my creation for this weeks LCI challenge - oh did I mention the excitement I felt when I got home and had made last weeks Top 3 - thank you so much Lady bugs !!

Paper - Funky Hand Paper Factory

Coloured in using my Promarkers
Ribbon - both from my lovely Kerry @ LCI

Me time......

Well what a fabulous surprise my husband sprung on me !! We are off to Italy for a week - fly into Venice for a couple of days, then on to Florence and finally Rome where we fly home from.....and then to Kent to see my MIL and FIL.... who incidentally has had a really positive week.....even managed a walk around the country park on Sunday - she hasn't walked for 4 months :) We all know what is around the corner but are trying to give her as many good times as we can - and selfishly to help us as much as her......

Here is a card I was asked to make - the lady loves to read so I chose this Nikki stamp and she absolutely loved it.
I am entering this into this weeks LCI Challenge - Circles, Pink and Chocolate
