Today is my nephew Jude's 1st birthday - how time flies......

I used LCI Through the Ages Billie and a digi paper that I purchased from Etsy, 

finished off with a couple of Stampin Up buttons.

Birthday Challenge Take 4

Today is week 4 of our 'Birthdays' challenge - lots of lovely entries - I have perused them all but now need to stop by and comment - please bear with me.

 

My card today is using the beautiful 'Through the Ages - 60' digital image.....I added a beautiful ribbon from May Arts and paper from Pink Petticoat - all came together nicely I think.

Birthday Challenge Reminder at Ladybugcraftsink

Well isn't this weather here in UK just fantastic - what a difference a bit of sunshine can make.

Eleanor will be 12 on Saturday so I have a lot of things to sort this week - she is having 5 girls for a sleepover and we are having a BBQ for 40 people including adults and children....must be mad !!!

Well it's absolutely scorching here - our garden looks lovely - due to lots of hard work

yesterday - We had our house painted internally this week so I'm a happy chicken.....just waiting for my new curtains and blinds this week and all sorted.

 

Today's card is my second card for the triplets that my friend cares for.....

I used  'Billie is One'  again - very cute - I'll be back this week with my last one..

'Birthdays' Month Long Challenge at LCI

Good Morning !!

 

A new challenge here at LCI but beforehand I must thank everyone for all the beautiful entries for the 'Flowers and Ribbon' challenge - do check to see if you are one of our lucky winners.

 

As we are all busy with Summer and holiday preparations, children breaking up from school we are going to make our next challenge for a month - but don't worry we will be back with reminders

 in between........

 

For this challenge we have been lucky enough to be given a new release

'Through the Ages 6-10' I'm sure you will all love this one.

Happy 1st Birthday......

Monday morning again and 1st July - where is the time going ????

John and Lewis had a fantabulous weekend at Silverstone - had glorious weather - think Lewis is planning Abu Dhabi next year !!!

Eleanor and I had a lovely weekend - a little retail therapy - a tear jerking movie last night and to a friend's BBQ tonight.....all round very happy.

 

My friend volunteers for a charity that looks after mums who just need that helping hand - whether it be post natal depression, single mums, mums with no close family -  basically anyone. The family that she is looking after at the moment is a mum who has had triplets.....ALL boys !!!

 

Here is my first card using 'Billie is One'  -

Another 70th Birthday......

Happy Sunday to everyone - we haven't been blessed with the sunshine that was promised this weekend but at least it isn't wet.

 

John and Lewis are at Silverstone and are having a wonderful time and they are having gorgeous weather....good job Mum remembered to pack the sun cream !!

Eight Decades

 

Hopefully I am well on the road to recovery - was diagnosed with acute Bronchitis AGAIN and the medication they gave me wiped me out and ended up having an afternoon nap every day !!!

 

Lewis and Eleanor go back to school tomorrow and I will miss them soooo much but will give me chance to get back into routine. John is hoping to stay home this week so that I can still take it easy.

 

My card today was made for a lady who I regularly make cards for and as soon as she asked for an eightieth card I knew what image I would be using......

I paper pieced the image and mounted it onto Spellbinders nestabilities....flittered the roses and glossy accent on the heart which you can't really see here but it's fabulous in real life.

It's getting closer......

As I said in my earlier post it was John's 50th birthday on Tuesday and as promised here are his cards....we had a lovely day - a nice lazy lunch in one of our favourite restaurants, and friends for a Chinese takeaway in the evening......

A friend made (and I paid for !!) him 50 cupcakes - they were absolutely fabulous.....
