Monday Blues.....

On my blog yesterday I was wishing for 3 day weekends - to be honest I don't work but find the week with Lewis and Eleanor's commitments worse than any job - today Eleanor was sent home from school ill but I still needed to collect  Lewis at 3:15 and get him somewhere for 4pm - logistically impossible when I have a husband working away and a sick child but not to disappoint Lewis - we went bucket and hot water bottle in tow !!! - mum's do jobs that no-one would apply for I'm sure !!!

Hoping Eleanor is well enough tomorrow as I have a Ladies night to prepare for - cards and jewellery - plus it's her birthday on Wednesday......

Here is a card that I made this morning ......

Wish we had three day weekends......

I never seem to have enough time at weekends anymore to achieve what I need to....am I slowing down or is time going quicker ?!?!

I made this card a few weeks ago for my SIL who loves cooking and baking - or if she doesn't put it this way she's fabulous at it.

Beautiful backing paper from Craftwork Cards

'Flour' flocked with Funflock to give texture

Football Jack....

I haven't had a lot of time to make cards recently - Lewis and Eleanor both have lots of commitments which are keeping me busy......sports day, bale runs, cricket tournament, football tournaments etc and with John working away I need to split myself and be there for both of them.....on top of weekends spent in Kent.

Here's my superstar son winning the egg and spoon in his last ever primary school sports day :-(

I was asked to make a couple of cards for a friends 3 year old son - he likes CBeebies and football - I decided to go with the football for one of the cards - and very happy indeed with it.....
