Girly Weekend or on my own?!

So John and Lewis are off to Silverstone in the morning for the weekend,
leaving Eleanor and I at home.
Does this mean that we will shop, watch movies and chillax together OR is it not cool for a nearly 13 year old to spend the weekend with her Mum......yes you guessed she has 'other' things to do!
I may grab the evenings with her if I'm lucky :0/

For today's card I have used a new image from Ladybug Crafts Ink Bucket of Blooms - absolutely gorgeous image to colour.

Whatever your plans are for the weekend - have a lovely time.

Happy 3rd Birthday Opal

During half term we went to visit John's family in Kent and in the
week my niece turned 3 - I can hardly believe she's 3 !!

I used the utterly gorgeous Robyn image from Ladybug Crafts Ink and added the
number 3 to one of the balloons - with digi stamps this is soooo easy to do.

a closer view

and here is little Opal blowing her candles out on her Peppa Pig
cake that my friend made for her.....it was fantabulous !!
(my biggest fear was that it wouldn't make the 260 mile journey in one piece but as you can see - it did !)

Pretty in Pink

Did I tell you about my new printer ?? Well it's a Canon MX925 and it prints
on 300gsm card - I'm sooooo chuffed !! It means I can now print DP on card stock and
use it as  my base card :0)

I found this Digi paper on Etsy and fell head over heels straight away.

I love the image and thing she is perfect for a girlie card.

Happy 49 years Mum & Dad.....

Forty nine years - wow seems forever !! My Mum and Dad won't be celebrating this year as my Dad isn't well - he's now had his third session of chemotherapy and unfortunately the side effects aren't very nice.

My card is very simple and I'm so sorry but can't remember where I bought the image from.......which I paper pieced with some digital paper I purchased from Etsy some time ago.

Thank you for stopping by - hope you are all keeping cosy.

Happy 40th Birthday....

We were blessed with great weather for bonfire night - we ended up sitting in front of  the fire until 10:45 !!
We had a laugh and although I didn't want to go in the first instance I can hand on heart say it was the best night out in a long time....

I was asked by my beautician if I could make a card for her friend who is a singer.....and is fond of animal print.

I found the image on Google - the animal prints are a digital paper pack I purchased on Etsy.
The ribbon was a mistake - I ordered the wide one and was sent this instead but to send back would've cost me more than the ribbon - I thought it suited this card though.
The buttons are hiding where I jumped on my sewing machine - Celeste my Burmese decided she wanted to see what I was up to !!

Please don't forget to follow me and comment on my 'Candy Post' to be in with a chance of winning.....

Take care and Hugs
