What an awful day - the rain just never stopped.

My card today was made for someone who wanted a pink card for

her daughter's Godmother....here is my creation.

Still not 100% - John working in India, someone broke Lewis' toe at school by dropping him - and Eleanor on meltdown in anticipation of her SATS tests.....no wonder I don't feel 100% !!

Took some time out to make Eleanor's friend a card - as with all young girls at the moment she is an avid fan of anything Union Jack....

New SU order arrived......

My Stampin' Up demonstrator has decided to longer do it - so as March was the last month of our Stamper 6 - I had to put a bumper order in to keep me in stock of my favourite papers....it arrived last week and it was like heaven !!!

I treated myself to a new die which looks stunning in felt.....and the backing papers oh please don't get me going they are just stunning.

I bought a few new digi-stamps from LCI's new release recently and haven't felt up to crafting up until yesterday - and I was so excited colouring it in.

I made this card for a friend's daughter who will be turning 15 next week and this image is just like her.

Welcome back ....

I have been a terrible blogger recently - but ended up at the Doctors on the Thursday before we went to The Lakes and I was diagnosed with acute Bronchitis again - and had to be very very careful that it didn't turn to Pneumonia. I was prescribed steroids, anti-biotics and given a Ventolin inhaler...and I am going to be checked for Asthma :(

We had a lovely time in The Lakes with all John's family, although I then got Tonsilitis, which is so painful I never realised:(

I couldn't do the climbs and slept the first couple of days and ended up reading three books......which I will jot down and let you know what they were as they were all page turners, but we all got together each night - played games and generally chilled and had a really good laugh....although I went to bed a few hours before everyone else (including Lewis and Eleanor !!)

I'm still nowhere near myself but so much better than I was and even managed a bit of crafting today before falling asleep.

Has anyone checked Pinterest yet ?? It is so addictive beware !! You can get so much inspiration but hours go by without you realising :D

Here is a card I made for a good friend of mine - we may go months before we get together but when we do it's like we've never been apart......a true friend.

Dragonfly ......

Sun is still shining here - and can you believe it is hotter than

the South of England !!

A friend lost her Dad about 8 years ago and each and every day she talks about him, and when he was very ill he told her that whenever she saw a Dragonfly to think of him....and she now believes when she sees one it's her Dad looking after her. This helps my friend through her loss and can you believe she started a new job and the teacher who she was assisting brought in a Dragonfly that she'd found in the courtyard outside their classroom that morning - I was covered in goosebumps after she told me this story.

Claire has been helping out in Eleanor's class recently and on Friday she moves on so today I wanted to make her something special.....

One Day, Two Ladies, One Birthday !!!

Well today I have been busy - raked all the leaves in the garden, sucked them up with our leaf sucker upper.....emptied some pots....and generally tidied up a little bit before my back told me to stop :(

So I took a shower, sprayed my back with my fabulous Bio-Freeze and went off to craft.

One of my friends is a member of a Tennis club and she asked me to make a card for two girls who both have their birthday on Thursday.....so I decided to use the same image but different colour ways....
