Two Peas in a pod

Just a quick post from me today -
I checked over on Beverley's blog yesterday at Uniko Studios to see if there was
any news on her new arrivals and to my joy there was.
Bev and husband are now the proud parents of two bouncing baby boys.

I have used 'Two Peas in a pod' from Meljens Design and kept the card very CAS.

Thank you for stopping by.

There is a schamazing closing down sale so please
do visit today and purchase ALL your favourite images before they go :0(

ALL cling stamps will be on sale from today for £1 - yes £1!!
AND all ribbon, felt, buttons and nail heads are 30% off.

Please grab the banner and share the news.

We hope you'll join us in our final challenge which will be

CHOOSE YOUR FAVOURITE IMAGE

We would love it if it was an LCI image but it doesn't have to be......do please try as it would be fantabulous as a GRAND FINALE.

There will be 2 prizes....One for the challenge
and one for the challenge using an LCI image.

Okay - now I can put the Kleenex away and dry my eyes ready to show you the image that I was first given as a Ladybug.

The first card I made is here
- such a beautiful image.

I wanted to make it totally different this time so went about with a different colour combination and then it all fell into place, although the liquid pearls did run a bit I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Happy Birthday to you!

Hello everyone!!

We had an amazing time at Lake Como - the weather was mixed but managed to get a lovely tan  ~ think it was because it was 23-25 degrees most days so was a nice heat to wander in and also to fall asleep in!!

My card today was made with a couple of new stamps that I bought recently from
 Uniko Studios and Mama Elephant.

I'd like to join in with

Hogwarts!

Happy Friday everyone!

Tomorrow we leave for just over a week in Lake Como - I am so looking forward to a rest after the stress of the past few months......just hope George Clooney doesn't whisk me off my feet and expect me to run away with him ~ LOL!!

My Dad hasn't had a great week but think he is getting depressed again - can't begin to imagine what is going through his mind. Hopefully we will get the results of yesterdays MRI late next week.

Anyway on to todays creation - although looks quite simple it took me an age to get all the fonts and sizing right and I even managed to make the wax seal out of some red Fimo. My customer was over the moon and gave me £10 tip for my extra efforts......I so wish he ordered more often!!

Trust you all have a lovely weekend......

Thank you!

Hi everyone ~ life has taken me on a roller coaster this past couple of weeks and although I have had orders to create I haven't really relaxed to enjoy crafting ~ if you know what I mean.

My Dad isn't very well and when he went to have the tumours removed from his right lung, a couple of weeks ago they were unable to operate as they found, on a scan, that the liver cancer had returned so at the moment he is waiting for a MRI to find out what and where he is up to. A really horrible time for him.

We had booked a holiday to Italy which would've been just over two weeks after his operation and he wants us still to go - but it's going to be a difficult one. I've satisfied my mind that it's only 4 hour maximum to return home if I need to.

Anyway ~ onto one of my orders.....
a lady needed a card for her employee that she had 'nanny'd' for for eight years but is leaving as the children are getting too old. She wanted a shabby chic 'Thank you' keepsake card - I hope it was gratefully received.

I just had to share this photo of Cocoa and Celeste - they are always together but this was just hilarious!

Hope you are all having a lovely summer.

Thank you for dropping by
