I am a Music Man......

This week has brought another few days of my plans being disrupted - set Thursday and Friday aside to write all my cards and wrap all the presents......but Lewis came into my craft room on Tuesday night complaining that his back was hurting......on Friday he had come home from school with what looked like insect bites on his back so I sprayed them with Solarcaine and gave him antihistamines....again on Saturday and Sunday - but when he lifted his T-Shirt I just knew it was Shingles......felt so guilty. Took him to the Doctors on Wednesday morning and she said 'Oh it's good to see something other than coughs and colds !!' - had to laugh as my poor son was in agony !!!

He is much better and hopefully will return to school tomorrow as all blisters have scabbed over and no weeping.

On to my card today I made for someone who regularly asks me to make cards for her......

The music sheet in the background is actually the sheet music to 'Happy Birthday' and the inage is one that I had downloaded from the internet sometime ago.

WOW card.....

Wow - my second post in one day !!

I have ironed, I have cleaned, called in to a friend for coffee AND been treated to my dinner out - what a lovely day.....AND even had time for a little crafting....

My card today is a simple birthday card with a new image that I got free from Flat Friends Challenge Blog and decided to make my card to fit their challenge....

I embossed the backing card and scored lines with my new Stampin' Up scoring tool and tied a simple white satin bow.

The nesties are from my Australian purchases and to finish off two simple white buttons......

I used the Stampin Up Score tool to score lines on the

insert paper - it looks fab !!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

.....my spare room ensuite is now locked to Lewis and Eleanor - too many little surprises for them in there !!

All my Christmas cards are made - just need to sit down and write them....a job for one night this week.

Haven't put our tree up as we have our niece, Opal, staying next weekend and felt it was too much of a temptation for her and to be honest it was a perfect excuse as I really don't like my tree up too early.......

My card today was made for my friend's daughter - the same girl that the sweet treat was made for.......

I printed off the digital paper from my Craftwork Cards CD, the image is a Bugaboo - which I just love.....I paper pieced the dress, flittered the gloves and boots and added a May Arts ribbon and there you go........

for my friend's daughter for Christmas....

 

Isabelle totally loves anything Union Jack - red white and blue.....so I decided to buy RWB Jelly Beans and create this 3D picture for her.....

Midway 'Snowflake' Challenge Reminder.....

Another week has gone by and I have got myself amazingly organised during the past week and am very impressed with myself :0)

I went to the Christmas markets with Jane on Friday and I believe that this was a turning point - I feel so Christmassy now......

Whilst we we were walking round my hands were freezing - until they were wrapped round my Gluckwein !!!!

So onto my creation today.......it is another altered clear box which you can purchase here - not forgetting the crazy sale on cling stamps here.
