Ladybugcraftsink Office Stationery Challenge

Today's challenge is from the lovely bug Sally and she would like you to include some office stationery on your card.....such as envelope, staple, paperclip. bulldog type clip, lined paper etc

Here's my card - I have used star paperclips which I bought when I was about 19 in Germany !! I've always loved paper, stationery and when I was younger prefered to go into stationers than clothes shops !!

The image I have used is a newly purchased Buttercup with Bird on head.... and the backing papers are a freebie Minds Eye paper pad last year!!!

The hessian type thingymajig is something I found whilst sorting my craft room and have to be honest wondered if I'd ever use it !!

 Isn't this paperclip just the cutest ever ??

Happy 40th Birthday....

We were blessed with great weather for bonfire night - we ended up sitting in front of  the fire until 10:45 !!
We had a laugh and although I didn't want to go in the first instance I can hand on heart say it was the best night out in a long time....

I was asked by my beautician if I could make a card for her friend who is a singer.....and is fond of animal print.

I found the image on Google - the animal prints are a digital paper pack I purchased on Etsy.
The ribbon was a mistake - I ordered the wide one and was sent this instead but to send back would've cost me more than the ribbon - I thought it suited this card though.
The buttons are hiding where I jumped on my sewing machine - Celeste my Burmese decided she wanted to see what I was up to !!

My card today was for a friend's birthday - I look after her dog twice a week as she works and Buttercup looks just like Maisy ;0)

My 'P's' today are Pals and Pooch !!

I used LCI Best Friends Nikki stamp, coloured in using Promarkers
Spellbinders Nestie stamp, Etsy digital papers, LCI sentiment and ribbon from my stash.

Weekend - where did it go ??

Weekend, Half term - so quick....

Have been feeling low this past couple of days - organising Christmas without Brenda has really got to me.....my chest has been quite bad, John arrived home on Friday but goes back to Japan until Saturday, Lewis and Eleanor return to school tomorrow so all in all a bit rubbish :0(

 

We went to a 40th party last night - which was more than an eye opener - I have never seen such a broad range of characters in all my life !!!

Was nicely tucked up in bed for midnight though so was able to take advantage of the extra hour......

 

I have used LCI Make a Wish Nikki, the sentiment/numbers are also from LCI.

The backing papers were another digital purchase from Etsy. The ribbon is an old Stampin Up one from my stash....and finally Spellbinders nesties....

Here's my card - I have used purple and paper piecing....the image is our lovely Nikki and the backing papers are a digital paper pack I bought from Etsy - gorgeous papers aren't they - and I'll never run out !!! The felt flowers are a Cheery Lynn die - miniature rose.

Magnum hits the beer.....

John finally arrived home last night - 1hr 45 min delay meant that he missed his connection in Frankfurt - so instead of getting home at 17:30 - he landed at 22:45......and today he has gone paintballing with Lewis ALL day......I honestly don't know how he does it.

 

It's my nephew's birthday on Friday - he lives in Cardiff and I don't know if you read the news yesterday but he lives near where the horrendous hit and runs took place - he said it was beyond belief - people were just down everywhere.

I certainly hope the driver gets what is coming to him - what a senseless act....and one poor family is now without their mother, wife......why ????

 

My card for Simon is made with an extra add-on made especially for LCI's Magnum - I flittered the beer glass and balloon and although very simple - just love it.
