Weekend Wedding....

We had a lovely family wedding this weekend, my Nephew, Simon, on John's side of the family married his childhood sweetheart, Lucy.....the day was very special and it was lovely catching up with everyone.

Birthday Challenge Take 4

Hello all !!!

 

Not doing a great deal of crafting at the moment - think my mojo has gone on vacation again.

 

I had a request for a card for a 5 year old who is very fond of Angry Birds - I honestly didn't know where to begin so went off to Google images and this is what I came up with.

 

I've never played with punches other than what they should be used for.

Week 3 Ladybugcraftsink Birthday Challenge

We had a fabulous day for Eleanor's birthday - not only the weather but bouncy castles, Pimms, music and friends - such a laugh.

 

Today's card is the card that I made for Eleanor from Lewis......

Today my baby is 12 .....

Good morning - and what a scorcher today is going to be.

 

Twelve years ago today at 12:26 Eleanor was safely delivered into the world - she is such a beautiful girl both inside and out - but I certainly wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of her !!!

She is 20 months younger than Lewis but there is only 1 academic year between them and she has been known to sort out people who haven't been too nice to him !!

 

This was taken last night and is the dress she will be wearing in two weeks for my Nephew's wedding - stunnalicious.

 

 

Here is the card that I made from John and I - she likes her bling so I added lots to the card !!

 

 

 

Eleanor is having 5 girlfriends tonight for a sleepover and we are having a

BBQ with the girls parents from 4pm......Eleanor wanted a bouncy castle - so we have arranged one as a surprise.....and wait until you see her cake - I will post back tomorrow with a picture.

Eleanor will be 12 on Saturday so I have a lot of things to sort this week - she is having 5 girls for a sleepover and we are having a BBQ for 40 people including adults and children....must be mad !!!

Well it's absolutely scorching here - our garden looks lovely - due to lots of hard work

yesterday - We had our house painted internally this week so I'm a happy chicken.....just waiting for my new curtains and blinds this week and all sorted.

 

Today's card is my second card for the triplets that my friend cares for.....

I used  'Billie is One'  again - very cute - I'll be back this week with my last one..

'Birthdays' Month Long Challenge at LCI

Good Morning !!

 

A new challenge here at LCI but beforehand I must thank everyone for all the beautiful entries for the 'Flowers and Ribbon' challenge - do check to see if you are one of our lucky winners.

 

As we are all busy with Summer and holiday preparations, children breaking up from school we are going to make our next challenge for a month - but don't worry we will be back with reminders

 in between........

 

For this challenge we have been lucky enough to be given a new release

Happy 1st Birthday......

Monday morning again and 1st July - where is the time going ????

John and Lewis had a fantabulous weekend at Silverstone - had glorious weather - think Lewis is planning Abu Dhabi next year !!!

Eleanor and I had a lovely weekend - a little retail therapy - a tear jerking movie last night and to a friend's BBQ tonight.....all round very happy.

 

My friend volunteers for a charity that looks after mums who just need that helping hand - whether it be post natal depression, single mums, mums with no close family -  basically anyone. The family that she is looking after at the moment is a mum who has had triplets.....ALL boys !!!
