Happy Daddy's Day.......

I had soooooo many Father's Day cards to make this year - I am glad that all cards are now open so that I can showcase some of them !!!!

Here goes......

This one was created on my Stampin' Up My Digital Studio (available in US only)......I played with virtual stamps, printed it off, mounted and embellished it.

Again with my Stampin' Up My Digital Studio - this friend lives in California and she sent me a photo of herself and Mum and Dad which I inserted in the card and then she scanned the insert which I printed and put in the card for her....

This is a Teddy Bo image coloured in Liverpool FC colours and mounted on Liverpool emblem backing paper which I created in MS Word for a Liverpool supporting dad.....

The same Teddy Bo image but coloured in Manchester United FC colours and mounted as before ....

and another Teddy Bo image - this one was from Eleanor to John

- I loved the bright colour combo...

Yes - you guessed yet another Teddy Bo image -

this one was from Lewis to John

- this is just so much like him when he's sat working !!!

and finally the one from me to my Dad - he's not a fussy card person so this one suited him !! - made as before in a different colourway.

Blingtastic......

Tickets booked and the countdown begins......

Australia on 3rd August for just over 3 weeks - so excited.

Here is a card I was commissioned to make for a lady who is extra blingtastic - she runs her own company - blinging shoes with swarovski crystals and now sells other crystal pieces - hair accessories, jewellery etc - so this card had to carry lots of bling.

I used a Nikki stamp from LCI and coloured in using Promarkers.

Backing paper from Stampin' Up and ribbon from Dies to Die for.

Felt flowers using Dienamics die and LCI felt.

Baby girl....

Seems ages ago now since all the fantastic Jubilee celebrations

- wasn't it lovely to see our country come together.....and didn't the Royal Family look amazing.....from the Queen, herself, to Kate in her beautiful dresses.

I was asked to make a card for a new baby girl.....hope you like it.

The image I used was from LCI and colured in using Promarkers and embellished with Glamour Dust and bling.

The flowers were made with a Die-namics die out

of scrumptious felt from LCI too.

Jubilee Weekend....

I'm really looking forward to this weekend - John has been in China, Lewis has been on a residential and poor poor Eleanor has had a reaction to something that has bitten her and her legs doubled in size and are black :-(

This week I have been finally diagnosed asthmatic and have been given two inhalers......so yes I am certainly looking forward to putting this week behind me.

I chose Red White and Blue for my card today to follow

the theme of the Jubilee weekend.

Happy Birthday to you.....

Very stressful in my house this week - SATS week for Eleanor and the hardest job is not getting her to do practice papers but to get her to go to bed at a reasonable time....doesn't help when her older brother won't go neither just to help me !! -Dad is in Japan so not much help this week !!

It will be my mum's birthday this Saturday - I have made two cards one from Lewis and Eleanor and one from myself.....I am showing you the one I made from the children today - will be back with the one from me later.

I wanted to enter into the challenge over at LCI so I based my card on that - Anything But Square .

Teens...

I started Pilates a couple of weeks ago to help me with my breathing and hopefully tone me up - I really miss my walking but due to my chest being so bad I'm not allowed at the moment.......but boy did I not imagine such 'gentle' exercise would kill me so much. I have exercised nearly all my life from aerobics to simple walking and I have come home sweaty and tired BUT with Pilates I came home absolutely revitalised BUT the following morning I discovered muscles I didn't know existed....and it's true what they say - you do feel so much better and I'm sure I look better already - LOL !!!!!
Here's a gorgeous digi-stamp from LCI - I was able to put to use for a 15 year old friend's daughter....isn't it just fabulous.
