I've lost a follower :(

..... and the sad thing is I don't know who.....I thought it was Kerry but she is on my second page (what an acheivement !!!!)
I wanted a larger image of this stamp I had so I stamped it, scanned it in and inserted it into Word and made it bigger - how cool !!!

....and for the very first time EVER I paper pieced and loved the result.

The papers I used were digital papers from Pink Petticoat, LCI Nikki image, ribbon and bling from stash.

Still getting dry....!!

Yesterday was Eleanor's final sport's day at primary school - she doesn't like sports day and to be honest I never did at school so I can sympathise.
I went walking with my friend for over two hours first thing and it was boiling 24 degrees - I came home had a shower and got changed into a lovely sundress.
Arrived at Sports day - clouds were developing and I'm not kidding you the moment the children came out the heavens opened and it was bouncing down - it was called off halfway through and we all left like drowned rats !! I'm still drying out now !!!!

My card today is a LCI image which I absolutely love.....hope you do too.

I have heard on the grapevine that LCI are having a new release next Tuesday along with a blog hop - you have to be there to join in.

Ladybug Shoes......

Well - when I started this card I hadn't a clue what colours I was going to use and as I started it all came together.......

the perfect ladybug shoes !!!

I have had this image for sometime and can't remember

where I purchased it from :(

The backing paper was from SU - and has a flock texture to it....absolutely gorgeous and the ribbon is from Dies to Die For so stunning.

Something a little extra.....

I was asked by a very good friend if I could do something a little different for her for her parents Golden Wedding today.....

The frame was from Ikea and I made the picture with my Stampin' Up My Digital Studio...and then embellished it with a few gold diamantes.

She was very happy :)

My BFF.....

Today is my BFF's birthday - she is such a special person to me - she took care of my cats whilst we travelled to and fro from Kent last year - never ever let me down......always a good ear or shoulder to cry on...so so lovely.

Her husband had an affair with her very good friend for 2 1/5 years and as a birthday gift this morning he called her to say he was going to be a dad - I can't put into words how I'm feeling so how she must be feeling is beyond me......

John came home from Cork today and after hearing this - as a surprise has treated us both to a Spa day on Monday......hopefully I'll be able to take her mind off things.....

Here is my card that I made for her - she absolutely loved it.....

Happy Daddy's Day.......

I had soooooo many Father's Day cards to make this year - I am glad that all cards are now open so that I can showcase some of them !!!!

Here goes......

This one was created on my Stampin' Up My Digital Studio (available in US only)......I played with virtual stamps, printed it off, mounted and embellished it.

Again with my Stampin' Up My Digital Studio - this friend lives in California and she sent me a photo of herself and Mum and Dad which I inserted in the card and then she scanned the insert which I printed and put in the card for her....

This is a Teddy Bo image coloured in Liverpool FC colours and mounted on Liverpool emblem backing paper which I created in MS Word for a Liverpool supporting dad.....

The same Teddy Bo image but coloured in Manchester United FC colours and mounted as before ....

Another Teddy Bo image for the DIY Dad and Grandad ......

and another Teddy Bo image - this one was from Eleanor to John

- I loved the bright colour combo...

Yes - you guessed yet another Teddy Bo image -

this one was from Lewis to John

- this is just so much like him when he's sat working !!!

and finally the one from me to my Dad - he's not a fussy card person so this one suited him !! - made as before in a different colourway.

Blingtastic......

Tickets booked and the countdown begins......

Australia on 3rd August for just over 3 weeks - so excited.

Here is a card I was commissioned to make for a lady who is extra blingtastic - she runs her own company - blinging shoes with swarovski crystals and now sells other crystal pieces - hair accessories, jewellery etc - so this card had to carry lots of bling.

I used a Nikki stamp from LCI and coloured in using Promarkers.

Backing paper from Stampin' Up and ribbon from Dies to Die for.

Felt flowers using Dienamics die and LCI felt.

Baby girl....

Seems ages ago now since all the fantastic Jubilee celebrations

- wasn't it lovely to see our country come together.....and didn't the Royal Family look amazing.....from the Queen, herself, to Kate in her beautiful dresses.

I was asked to make a card for a new baby girl.....hope you like it.

The image I used was from LCI and colured in using Promarkers and embellished with Glamour Dust and bling.

The flowers were made with a Die-namics die out

of scrumptious felt from LCI too.
