Happy Mother's Day!

Hello there and a very Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there.

 I am here today to share the card I made for my mum this year. 

I have used a gorgeous TeddyBo image.....and simply layered it onto patterned card.

Happy New Year!!

 Hoping everyone has had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed seeing the New Year in ~

John and I are now nil by mouth for at least a month!!

My card today was for my friend's daughter to give to her Mum.

I used one of my many favourite Teddy Bea (251)  images and teamed it with a computer generated sentiment, Stampin up card and ribbon ~ perfect!!

Lewis was 15 this week and I honestly cannot believe it!!

Lewis and Eleanor adore one another and are very best friends - it warms me up when I see how close they are and think to myself if I've done anything right in life it is my children <3

Teddy Bo Bingo

Teddy Bo's challenge this fortnight is Bingo

- I chose Flowers, Patterned Paper and Buttons

Gorgeous Teddy Bea has been coloured with my favourite colour combination

lilac and lemon.

I am not 100% happy with the placement of the flowers 

but used hot glue so couldn't move them (lesson learned!)

Grumps - 80 years old today!

Today we are down in Chessington celebrating my FIL's 80th birthday.....

3.5 hours journey to see Tommy Cooper and Tom Jones act - hmmmmm sure I could be doing something slightly more exciting!!

Today's card is so simple but perfect for what I needed.

The image is a Teddy Bea one but I printed it onto Kraft card and added LOTS of Wink of Stella which irl is fantabulous!!

Why oh why does 1 hour make such a difference ?!?!? I could quite easily of stayed in bed this morning.

Well today is Mother's Day in UK and one of my baby's isn't here with me - but ho hum . He did leave me with a card though and inside he wrote

Teddy Bea Mum

Happy Saturday everyone !!

For today's card I have used a gorgeous Teddy Bea image -

 teamed with a Pink Petticoat DP and added Hobby House self adhesive pearls.

I have treated myself to some Copic markers and wish I'd bought them before 

my Promarkers but ho hum never mind.

Today is my Dad's birthday and boy what a year my poor Dad has had.

Today, though, we aren't looking backwards but forwards 

and hope the next few weeks, and months are more and more positive.

week - this card was from her daughter !!

Happy Father's Day part 2....

Good morning everyone...!!

 

Well yesterday I showed you the cards that I made from Lewis and Eleanor to John,

today here is the card that I made for my Dad.

 

My Dad had some positive news from his MRI scan - his liver tumours have shrunk enough with the Chemotherapy for them to be able to operate. It really has changed how my Dad is feeling - he was getting very depressed as the Chemotherapy was making him so poorly but I think he is beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel......still a long way to go and another 3 months Chemo after the operation BUT at least they think he is strong enough for them to operate.

Happy Father's Day.....

Lilac Mum.....

The snow arrived and Lewis and Eleanor had a good time with their friends - they are back to school so now I just want it all to go away !!

 

I drive a car which is a rear wheel drive and it is no joy in this weather - in fact I haven't been out all weekend because I'm so scared. John's is a 4WD but it safest me being in my craft room !!

 

Teddy Bo have some gorgeous images and when I was asked to make a bear card for a friend's mother I knew just which bear I was going to use.

 

I used a digital backing paper which I purchased on Etsy. The ribbon is May Arts which I bought in bulk from SE Simons - unfortunately there is a minimum order so I just had to purchase lots of other gorgeous ribbon too !!
