WOW card.....

Wow - my second post in one day !!

I have ironed, I have cleaned, called in to a friend for coffee AND been treated to my dinner out - what a lovely day.....AND even had time for a little crafting....

My card today is a simple birthday card with a new image that I got free from Flat Friends Challenge Blog and decided to make my card to fit their challenge....

I embossed the backing card and scored lines with my new Stampin' Up scoring tool and tied a simple white satin bow.

The nesties are from my Australian purchases and to finish off two simple white buttons......

I used the Stampin Up Score tool to score lines on the
insert paper - it looks fab !!

I would like to enter this into

Todays challenge has been set by our lovely Diane

6 1/8" x 6 1/16" x 1" - 70p each

4 1/2" x 5 7/8" x 1" - 60p each

I loved playing with mine and came up with several ideas but decided to make Snowman's soup - a couple of bugs came up with the same idea - ooops !!

Time flies....

Where on earth has the past few weeks gone ?? Arrived home early last week and haven't had chance to craft nor blog - with school shoe shopping, ironing, naming items of clothing I haven't had any time. All will change tomorrow when Lewis and Eleanor go back to school - and Eleanor start high school - eek !!

Our time in Australia was mega-amazing and so wish we could turn back the clock - I would certainly have emigrated .....my cousin and family were a delight to be with and my Aunty was fantastic putting up with us !!

I'm sure I will bore you over the coming weeks with photos but here is a little taster.....plus a card that I managed to do today as a favour for a friend....

I made a card for the Ladybugs Challenge using paper piecing and I think I'm hooked......
